- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I brought my kitty to James Island Veterinary Hospital as Hurricane Matthew was headed towards town. My regular vet was closed, and bad cat mommy that I am I had let his shots lapse and was desperate to update them before we evacuated so that I could board him when we got out of harm's way. They graciously fit me into the schedule before they closed early themselves for the storm. I was frazzled, and my cat was less than pleased to be there. They were great with both of us.
